Spectrum Reach recommended a four-pronged, data-driven strategy to precisely reach the right families across the Hawaiian Islands:

  1. A layered multiscreen strategy including traditional and streaming TV.
  2. Custom audience targeting (ex. “family with kids”) for streaming (on Discovery Channel, etc.), using data-driven tools.
  3. A focus on family-friendly channels (Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Animal Planet, etc.) including high school sports (local Spectrum SportsNet) to engage local families.
  4. Incorporating search engine marketing (SEM) to capture high-intent searches like “child therapy” or “disability services.”

THE RESULTSA 3x Increase in Web Traffic

Upon completion of the campaign, the Family Health Services Division of the Hawaii State Department of Health documented greater campaign impact with a 3x increase in web traffic, and a 5x increase in average clickthrough rate for their early childhood intervention web content.
